Part 6 · Management and Tracking of the Project
With the planning process complete the project's implementation phase can begin. This process starts with communication between you, the project manager, and your resources. This is a two way process, you inform them of the schedule of work and they report back on progress.
The project is tracked by the entering of progress into the plan as actuals. This usually produces variance between the planning and the performed. To remain on baseline schedule the plan must be managed.
